Latest Samsung galaxy tab s2 yo be thinner than ipad air2

The tablet will be thinner than the iPad Air 2 which had broken all records with its 6.1mm frame.

NEW DELHI: It appears that Samsung is already working on the next-generation Galaxy Tab tablet. It's also being rumoured that the tablet will even be thinner than the iPad Air 2. 

According to Samsung-focused website SamMobile, the Galaxy Tab S2 will be a premium device, sporting a metal frame. The tablet will come in 8-inch and 9.7-inch variants instead of the existing 8.4- and 10.5-inch ones switching to a squarish 4:3 (aspect ratio)display similar to the iPad mini and Nexus 9. 

The tablet will be thinner than the iPad Air 2 which had broken all records with its 6.1mm frame. The current-generation Galaxy Tab S is also pretty slim measuring just 6.6mm. Information related to specifications and availability ha snot been revealed yet. 

Earlier, the same website had reported that Samsung is also working on Tab A and Tab A Plus, two mid-range tablets that will come in 8-inch and 9.7-inch sizes. The Tab A Plus is rumoured to come with an S-Pen Stylus, which is usually offered only with Note devices.
