Now simply type the KEY directly on to that screen ('Help Me'). Nothing will appear when typing. For numbers hold the ALT key when typing. Now you should be in the engineers menu. if you are not please try again ensuring the data you entered into the E-Screen Key Generator is EXACTLY as displayed on the BlackBerry 'Help Me' screen. If you close the screen ensure you change the Uptime on the form. Navigate to 'OS Engineering Screens'.
Now scroll down to 'Device Info' and then scroll down until you see 'MEP-XXXXX-XXX'.

1. PUT DIFFERENT SIMCARD N POWER ON
2 - Using the menu go to Settings Menu -> SIM card and press select.
3 - While holding the SHIFT key, type mepd.(NOTE: You may not see any text appear on the screen while typing mepd)
4 - You should now see the five locking categories listed.
5 - While holding the SHIFT KEY, type mep2.(NOTE: You may not see any text appear on the screen while typing mep2).
6 - Release the shift key.
7 - You will now be prompted to enter the Network MEP code. (it will also state how many attempts left)
8 - Enter the Unlock Code.
9 - Enter Return/Enter.
10. D PHONE WILL REBOOT UNLOCKED
